Designer Janja Prokic created a collection of wedding and engagement rings with the star Sadalsuud. The name of the brightest star in the constellation Aquarius means the happiest among the lucky ones, and thus denotes the couple in their period of greatest love. The basis of engagement rings is a star symbolizing the chosen woman as the only star for her husband. Wedding rings fit together and each couple can use them to record important moments of marriage. Yellow, white and pink gold rings are available in the e-shop and directly in the studio.

Janja, Valentyna a Kateřina
Professor Eva Eisler and alumni from the K.O.V. Studio at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague come together in an exhibition which is third in a series of Marzee shows spotlighting the creative direction and aesthetic and intellectual approach with which tutors anchor their courses, and how this informs the work of their students.
The Stars and their strength are the main motif of a new collection of Sadalsuud, made by Janja Prokić, a Czech designer. Janja found inspiration in the Star of the same name, which is the brightest of the Aquarius constellation. In translation, Sadalsuud means the happiest of the happy ones, and therefore the jewellery from the new collection is intended to bring wearers happiness and inner strength on their journey. Jewellery is made of gold and silver, supplemented with diamonds and precious stones.
Janja complements the HOMA collection with distinctive earrings. They are made of silver and gold of various variants and decorated with precious stones. The new earrings bear the motif of feathers and eyes as symbols of protection, and the heart on the other hand is to ensure that the wearer is listening to all the good news.

Janja is the designer of the year 2018. She has won this award for the Homa collection. Homa, in the feathers of the New Guinea birds of paradise, ancient Indian hand-crafting techniques and the traditional protective symbols originating from the Balkan Peninsula.
Homa, the new collection by Janja Prokić, the artist and jewellery designer, is flying on bird wings across the Arafura Sea to Papua New Guinea. It is inspired by the culture, myths and unique natural heritage of the island, the only place in the world inhabited by the birds of paradise. These heavenly fragile creatures and their feathers symbolise untouchability and protection from above in their basal essence, in their beauty, which impresses by its depth and shields against the evil. As in other collections of the distinctive author, tradition and rituals are significant. Tribal ritual masks from Papua New Guinea were a source of inspiration for the designs.
Janja Prokić, the Czech jewellery designer, presents her first collection of wedding rings. She found inspiration in the wishes of her clients who had ordered custom-made wedding rings. The collection consists of two kinds of rings: twiggy ones which symbolize mutual growth and flourishing and geometrical ones which derive from a stylization of the Abracadabra collection dedicated to white magic. A small heart on the base of the shank of the rings is not only an original detail but also Janja's signature. It manifests wearing one’s heart on one’s sleeve and so it highlights the very intimate expression of love between two people during a proposal. All rings are made of white, rose and yellow gold.
